Texas Health Relief Fund
The employee relief fund was formed to help employees affected by COVID and personal/catastrophic events that include flood, tornado, house fire, domestic violence and now travel expenses for unexpected and/or necessary medical treatment. It provides short-term assistance to help bridge the financial gap by assisting employees experiencing significant financial hardship. This fund awards grants to eligible employees to help cover basic needs, such as childcare, food, hotel lodging or travel expenses; or for critical needs, such as housing, utilities, or other related medical expenses. The Texas Health Employee Relief Fund is administered by a third party, E4E. Lifeline provides free, confidential support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for anyone of any age, including non-English speakers. Anyone can call the Lifeline, whether they are thinking about suicide or not, and get emotional support. 988 has been designated as the new three-digit dialing code that will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (now known as the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) and is now active across the United States. National Domestic Violence Hotline
The National Domestic Violence Hotline is a 24-hour confidential service for adult and youth survivors, victims and those affected by domestic violence, intimate partner violence and relationship abuse.
