    Quit for Life Smoking Cessation

    Quitting smoking can have immediate health benefits at any age, but it can be a tough habit to break. Quit for Life™ is a tobacco cessation program available to all Texas Health employees and eligible members of their household. Services include individual phone-based counseling with a Quit Coach, personalized Quit Guides providing helpful information so you can stay on track, access to Web Coach, as well as Nicotine Replacement Therapy.     If you’re looking for guidance on creating a healthy eating plan to meet your specific health and wellness needs, Texas Health has you covered.     Virgin Pulse Activities

    The Be Healthy Reward Program is powered by Virgin Pulse. Through this online and mobile wellness program, eligible employees and their spouses can redeem Be Health rewards and complete a variety of wellness activities to earn rewards.     United Health Care Mental Health Benefits

    As a medical plan holder through UnitedHealthcare, you can access convenient on-demand help with stress, anxiety and more right from your fingertips through Self-Care and Talkspace.     Self-Care offers personalized content that you can access on-demand to help you boost your mood and shift your perspectives.     Texas Health Relief Fund

    The employee relief fund was formed to help employees affected by COVID and personal/catastrophic events that include flood, tornado, house fire, domestic violence and now travel expenses for unexpected and/or necessary medical treatment. It provides short-term assistance to help bridge the financial gap by assisting employees experiencing significant financial hardship. This fund awards grants to eligible employees to help cover basic needs, such as childcare, food, hotel lodging or travel expenses; or for critical needs, such as housing, utilities, or other related medical expenses. Specially trained Texas Health PromiseSM Coaches are available at all entities to help employees resolve disputes with others in a collaborative, respectful and mutually agreeable manner.     988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline

    Lifeline provides free, confidential support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for anyone of any age, including non-English speakers. Anyone can call the Lifeline, whether they are thinking about suicide or not, and get emotional support. 988 has been designated as the new three-digit dialing code that will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (now known as the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) and is now active across the United States.     National Domestic Violence Hotline

    The National Domestic Violence Hotline is a 24-hour confidential service for adult and youth survivors, victims and those affected by domestic violence, intimate partner violence and relationship abuse. The Hotline provides crisis intervention, domestic violence education, safety planning, directly connecting callers to service providers such as local shelters and referrals to agencies that provide legal and economic resources.     Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration

    Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) offers a number of ways to connect people with reliable, reputable sources for assistance with behavioral health and substance abuse issues.     Alcoholics Anonymous
